Who we are
Our 30-strong lending team, based on the ground across the regions of the UK and in key EU markets, provide development finance, bridging loans, and investment finance directly to SME housebuilders and commercial real estate professionals.
We have built an institutional-grade platform delivering attractive returns for a diverse investor base. Our institutional only clients include public and private pension funds, insurance companies, charities, endowments and family offices. USS are part-owners of the business and we have a strategic partnership with Blackstone.
Our stable 15-year track record is defined by disciplined risk management and a proprietary, relationship-driven origination model. This approach has resulted in near-zero impairments since inception and strong credit performance, with over 65% of our development finance provided to repeat borrowers.

Our target markets offer compelling opportunities driven by structural shortages of housing and essential real estate, alongside the continued withdrawal of traditional banks from real estate lending. With experienced local teams in each geography, Pluto Finance is well positioned to deploy capital into a robust pipeline of opportunities and expand our European platform.
Since 2011, we have deployed over £4 billion of lending across more than 350 loans. We focus particularly on the living sector and have financed the delivery of over 15,000 new homes. Other sectors include logistics and offices.
