Pluto Finance Appoints Matteo Broggi as Associate Director of Fundraising and Investor Relations

Pluto Finance today announced the appointment of Matteo Broggi to Associate Director of Fundraising and Investor Relations.

Matteo brings with him a wealth of knowledge from his previous role, having spent over 8 years in a real estate capital advisory firm focused on raising capital for funds, joint ventures, club deals and co-investments in the UK, Europe, and the US. Broggi supported both the fundraising processes with clients and the sourcing of new investor and client relationships globally. During his time the firm raised almost €1.6bn of equity capital from institutional investors globally.

Broggi will become Associate Director at Pluto, working alongside Head of Investor Relations Robert Swift. Broggi commented on his recent appointment:

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to join Pluto Finance in this stage of growth. The company has a strong track record and has now lent around £3bn over 300 loans with very good performance throughout its various funds. Pluto also has a strong, existing investor base that will assist fundraising from other institutional investors globally. Pluto plays a primary role in the real estate lending market in the UK, and I am excited to be a part of it.”

Robert Swift, Head of Investor Relations at Pluto Finance, said:

“We are delighted Matteo has joined the Pluto team.  Matteo brings with him a wealth of experience in real estate capital.  He will be an asset to the team.  Part-owned by the UK’s largest private sector pension scheme Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), Pluto’s lending vehicles provide institutional investors with capital exposure to mid-market real estate loans.  Pluto’s investors include pension funds, insurers and global financial institutions and we are growing the investor base as the loan book increases and opportunities for new lending strategies emerge."
